In this lesson we were told to find "Easter eggs" of computer games or social media or literally anything really. Here's the link to the video i found on YouTube
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOo79gv8gmo
In these first 2 screenshots you see above is a game called "Borderlands 2"where you end up getting an awesome performance from one of the character.
This game is called "Gears of war 2" and you basically go up to this cool brick and shoot it. After you've shot it a toaster magically appears and cooks toast for you which is awesome.
In this game called "Hitman 4" you have to scare the vultures off, shoot them while they're in the air and then suddenly a crazy ice cream van comes speeding out of nowhere, kills the man you supposed to kill while launching him up in the air which is quite funny.
We then had to research 5 cool apps. The first is an app called "Shazam". If you can hear a cool song that's playing that you like you can use Shazam to identify what music is playing.
"Evernote Food" helps you discover and remember the food and meals you love. From finding great new restaurants to documenting how to make your favourite dishes.
"MyScript Calculator" lets you handwrite on a piece of paper your sums and it will scan and work these sums out for you so you don't have to mess around with typing symbols in etc.
"I always got the sense that this was the land of freedom and opportunity where you can do anything." is a quote from one of the users of the app "Everest" that lets you pursue your goals in life, imagine a social media app like Facebook but for sharing your life goals with others and you can also get help to achieve those life goals from others on there.

Character design drawing - Games and Graphics
In this lesson we had to get into pairs with people we haven't really spoke too yet and I got into a pair with Beth. We then had to describe to each other our Hobbies and interests and say whether we wanted to be a Super Hero or a Villain and she chose a Villain. Here is my drawing of her
As you can see she has a lightning speed, super strength, she has a magic pencil where she can draw anything and it'll come to life so if she drew a bomb it would become a bomb. She also had magic baking skills where she can bake a super addictive cake and it'll make people super fat where they will explode and die (quite grusome I know) then finally she has a book of knowledge where she can find out all the knowledge in the world by reading these books and she also has super jumping boots.

Martin parr butlins picture - photography
In this blog we were taught about a photographer called Martin Parr and he basically is well known for taking photos and editing the saturation really high to make the colours in the picture seem super bright and this picture taken around 1975 is of Butlins and as you can see in the picture above the colours are really bright and highly saturated.
8 film noir pictures - photography
In this lesson we had to research 8 images and blog about how we would recreate them and the lighting used and what the picture was trying to convey etc, here you can see the 8 images I have chosen and will soon be narrowing it down to 4 to recreate.
Secrets Research - Media
In this lesson we had to research about our new project called "secrets" so at first i looked at hidden secrets within Disney films and found that Disney often hide their characters in other Disney films as you can see by the pictures above.
Then i went i a bit further into my research and found that basically even companies hide subliminal messages in company logos. You can see above the images of the company logos. The first one is supposed to be a play on the forbidden fruit on the tree that you cannot eat from the bible and its if to say that apple will give you enlightenment. The second logo is the Audi logo with the 4 rings and the 4 rings represents the 4 founding companies to it as you can read above. The next logo is the BMW logo and the blue and white is a representation of the wind propellers with the blue sky shining inwards. The FedEx logo is an arrow to show forward thinking and Mercedes Benz has a triangular symbol to represent power and class. The McDonald's logo speaks for itself really and Mobil's colours stand for strength and faithfulness. Pepsi's logo is a bit more complicated.

I then went into the kind of dark side of it all and started searching people who had exposed the U.S government and this person came up (above picture) where he'd exposed the U.S's secrets on military data and lots of other things and has now created WikiLeaks which is a website where it has real proof of companies and is exposing them, I searched "9/11" and it came up with a whole document on 9/11 and a document on Bin Laden that you can see here.
